Hi Everyone!!! Hope you had a Wonderful Christmas and Holiday Season. I have so missed you all and Blogging and everyhing. After being unenployed for a year, I finally found and started a new job a few months ago as a Community Liaison for a local Nursing Home/Rehabilitation Place which I have done for the last 12 years and also about 3 weeks before I got that job I also started selling my scrapbooking stuff at a local green market too. Between Working 40 to 50 hours a week and selling all day on Sunday and trying to make enough stuff the other nights of the week the pace is just to much for me and I find I cannot keep up, so sadly I will have to give up the Green Market. But that will allow me to begin blogging again and keeping up with all of you and your blogs !!!!! Yeah!!!! Here are a couple of Scrapbook pages I made and framed, they were so super easy but I think they came out really cute dont you???? School Days Scrapbook for Cricut Mini Album Design Team

Ok so Back to school was the theme for this challenge and here is mine. It is made from one piece of 12"x 12" kraft Cardstock folded in quarters, and then I cut one of the folds just to the center and then folded the piece into squares and decorated..... It was fun and fast and turned out cute. I use the following cricut cartridges to decorate it: Hello Kitty greetings for the apple and books and Hello Kitty Font for the school Days words, The bird is from Three birds on parade, and the Library pocket is from Fabulous Finds.... The other graphics are digitals i had and I just resized for this mini and cut them out........ Thanks for looking. Sugar Sweet Paper Treats Project

Here is a TeePee Card I made for the Challenge over at Sugar Sweet Paper Treats, The Challenge was to make something that opened uncoventionally..... Here is my take. Its really easy too, just take 3 squares all the same size, fold each one diagonally and then glue each one to the other at the tips and along that side to form the teepee and then decorate with decorative papers and embellishment, Oh and I put a little piece of velcro to hold it together at the opening so it will stand up. This one is made with 4" x 4" squares but if you make them with 12"x12" squares you can decorate as a centerpiece too. I will probably post one of those for Thanksgiving so keep a look out......

Wow...... I couldn't believe how much fun this paper bag mini album was and fast to put together too. I was asked to teach a class for family members of Alzheimers patients on how to scrapbook their loved ones memories and pictures and to make it a mini and of course lowest cost, so I came up with this and of course had to make one to show and this is it...... Oh and by the way the class was a success and we are gonna meet again to finish what we started and then do something else too...... Thanks for looking...... I've been doing alot of different things, like going to Myrtle Beach for a much needed vacay. We had a blast, stayed right on the beach and also went for some retail therapy at those outlet malls that they had right near our Hotel . Summer Themed for Design Team on Cricut Mini Albums!!!

"Since our theme this month is Summer,Vacation,or Camping, I chose to do Summer and when summer is getting closer I start planning my gardens and this years was spectactular if I do say so myself.... I used the new Lacey Labels Lite Cartridge to create the album and cut the backgrounds for the pictures and then also made the rosettes for this mini. One may think that because I live in Florida that we can have all the flowers we want all the time, but not so. Because it gets so so hot (today is 96 degrees) alot of flowers cannot survive this kind of heat so getting plants in the ground early so we can enjoy them is important. Please come walk through my garden with me and take a look at the Yellow Dinner Plate sized Dahlia which is actually 9inches in diameter and also My roses and some of the other beautiful flowers.......Enjoy and have a great SUMMER!!!!!"

Hi Everyone! This is my first project for "Sugar Sweet Paper Treats" and I am so happy to be a part of this Awesome Design Team..... This card is made from the new Lacey Labels Cricut Lite cartridge and I stitched the ribbon in & out of the design and then made the accordian rosettes for the front, The sentiment is cut out in Mirror Gold. So How do you like my Cupcake Wrappers Now.

These are the store bought cupcake wrappers that I made flowers out of ...... The two small rosettes are made by flattening the large cupcake wrappers and drawing a round swirl and then fashioning the rose...... The two white flowers are plain white cupcake wrappers that the purple one I inked the edges with a purple stamp pad and then after fashioning the flower used some alcohol ink and a paint brush and brushed some ink into the center for depth. The other white one I painted gold edges on it with my Smooch paint. The patterned cupcake wrappers can be found at most craft stores and the grocery store has some too. Let me know what you think OK..........

Here is a little Tag Mini Album I had a ton of fun making....... The Tag is cut from the Tags Bags, Boxes, & More cart. and I cut them from Artists Black Board that I got here at a local artists

supply store, it is like chip board but a little softer and the Cricut has an easier time cutting this board, it also comes in White. Some of the Decorations are made with From My Kitchen Cart. Like the strawberries,

the other embellies are from stash I hador ones I made, One of my faves is the little wooden bird I got atMichaels, that came in a pkg of 4 and I just stained it with one of my ink pads.

My First Magnolia Card for Cute & Some Challenge!!

This is my very first stamped image on a card and I chose a Magnolia stamp image. She is so cute don't you think..... This card is also showcasing the flowers in my garden, can you tell that the image in the middle of the card is all one picture just cut in thirds. I also made a paper lollipop flower and inked with gold ink and added a pearl charm and the ribbon has a pearl charm too.

Victorian Mini Album for Sugar Sweet Paper Treats Challenge

Took me a while to complete this as it is my first Victorian attempt..... I started out with a Navy Blue Tag Album from TBBM cart and then used papers in a variety of blues and lavenders and pale pinks. The Chandelier is coated in glass effects and I did use a bunch of different laces and pearls to dress it up. All of the frames and cut outs are from Sentimentals and Songbird carts. Hope you like it.......

Hello Kitty Cards!!!!

One of the Cricut Message Board Sisters needed a Hello Kitty Card to give to her best friend for her birthday so I volunteered to Cut some pieces and send them to her but found myself wanting to finish them because of all the little pieces and if you dont have the book or the pictures it would be a little harder so I just went ahead and finished them for her.... They came out so cute I just wanted to share. Notice the one with the flower in her hair is just another version of the melted posies I did with paper I inked and then I also colored a white pearl for the middle with alcohol inks.... and the Other one with the pearl neclace and bracelet was just so fun to make..... Hope you like them.........

This is my shaped card made with "From My Kitchen" cartridge. It is an A2 size and I used the pieces from around the neck tie for the pocket and layered with red and white. Came out cute Huh???? Here is a great little box filled with Tags I made from all my scraps. I used my cricut to design the box and cut, I used my George Cartridge, and then just put together and filled it with tags. This little box will hold anywhere from 6 to 10 tags depending on their embellishments. These will come in so handy and will make great gifts to give too. I did this for the Bitten by the Bug 2 challenge - We were to use the Cricut cartridge "From My Kitchen" and use the Ice Cream Tab, so my variation is that I took the tab and made it into a card and Put an Ice Cream sundae on it too! The Card itself is just white but pictured on a dark background so it would show better You can get my cut file below and its free. Have fun making your own and show me what you make too!!

Styling Shoulder Bag

Thanks for coming to my Blog to see my 2nd Paper Purse which I designed and completely cut on my Cricut Expression. The Purse Measures 6" Tall and 7" wide at the Bottom of the purse. the Shoulder strap is made from 2 ribbons that I glued together with Fabri-Tak glue and then fashioned into a handle. The purse is made from Art Watercolor paper that I printed first and the sides and Latch is Mirror Board Cardstock and I embellished the sides with silver brads. I thought the Jewel clasp added Elegance of course and then the Fluer De Lis Key Chain that every designer purse comes with is Fab too, don't you think??? My First Purse made of Paper!!!

Here is a look at my very first Purse I made from Paper. It measures 7" wide by 5" tall not including the Handles which adds another 3". It will hold 10 notecards and envelopes and has a hook and loop closure under the gold button which I cut the back off of and then glued to the closure. Some of the parts I cut with the Cricut Expression. I only used 2 pieces of 12"x12" cardstock for the Purse Itself. I really think it came out pretty good. Let me know what you think. Here is a Stationary set I made and I am calling it "Island Life" since my husband is from Marthas Vineyard. These cards were made with pictures we took while visiting the Island. The Stationary Box is made from 2 pieces of 12 x 12 cardstock and Is really easy to do. It measures about 6"W x 5" H x 2" Deep. This box will hold 6 Note sized cards, 6 3" cards for bags, and 6 Tags too.

Hey Everyone, I 've been really busy making stuff and packing a swap gift box for my partner. Here's several things I made for the Swap and all of it ( except the chocolates, LOL!!) were made on my Cricut. The 1st picture is of chocolate goodies I sent inside an altered Crystal Light container. Came out cute huh?? For the Pink and Green card I used a template for the cricut that I got from Okieladys site which you can get here: http://okieladybugsscrapnmore.blogspot.com/ By the way she also has a video posted on this blog on how to make your own pop dots too!!! I had to design the Easter Bonnet on the Design Studio for Cricut and then cut it out. The rose on the card I made from the same ribbon around the hat and then I attached it to the card with Fabri-tak glue. I am also gonna try to attach my cut file that you can download for the Easter Bonnet Card. Have fun making yours. Bag of Tags

As you can see I have been really busy with this Project but it is a wonderful selection of oversized tags with 3d embellishments on each tag and has beautiful organza and satin ribbons too. The bag measures 7-1/2" high by 3-1/2" wide and each tag measures 8" high x 3-1/4" wide. Plenty of room for you to write your own sentiment or these could also be used as bookmarks or combine them with the binder ring I will include with this set and turn it into a tag mini album. Its up to you ! There are 10 Tags in all so could use part of them as a mini album and part of them as tags or bookmarks. Have fun deciding. And for those of you who do alot of scraping this was a wonder way to use up some of my scrap stash too!

Exploding Scrapbook

This little mini scrapbook is really compact at a 4" square tied closed with an elegant organza ribbon which when opened up explodes to show 10 pictures. Great to give as a give as a gift or just carry around with you as a brag book.

Stinkin Cute !!!!! Car Album

Hello Everyone, I am a little late with my post this a.m. because I was trying to finish this albun and then get some pics so I could post and show it off. This album is a 6" car but I have added several ways to add more pictures. Inside the Stop Sign you can fit 4 pictures, Inside the wallet on the orange gingham page can fit 2 pictures, The Pale Blue one has two tags that can hold pictures on the front and back of tags and then one on the pocket on the front too. And the Green page with the polka dot ribbon that opens up so you can fit 5 pictures inside that so the whole album will Hold 24 pictures in Wallet and Thumbnail size on the small squares and frames. All of the decorations and fold outs were cut with my Cricut Expression. These are really fun to make and I get the shaped albums at Michaels for $1.00 so all I have to do is decorate them. This is an Altered Composition book that I made for a friend. It's covered inside and out, and the Initial on top is wood that I painted to match and a fabric/paper flower for Decor. Also added tabs to make sections in the book.

Spring Cricut Mini Album

Hey Everyone, This is a really colorful mini-album I designed on my Cricut Expression using the new Sentiments cartridge and Fabulous Finds for the Library Pockets. It was really fun to make and the graphics for the papers I chose came from the pccrafter.com site which is another provocraft digital graphic site which has a monthly club that I belong to. I am gonna post my cut file for this project as soon as I learn how to do that.!!!!!

5-6-10 Ok Here is the free cut file I promised a while ago and then forgot to put it up here: Some of the cuts are from another mini I made so you may not need them but they are here anyway. For the main part of the accordian book it is the easiest to just cut 1 piece of 12 x 12" cardstock in half to have 2- 6" x 12" pieces, fold each in thirds and then glue two of the pieces together so you end up have 5 places on each side for pictures and tags. The library pockets I used in this one I bought at a teachers store, (you wouldnt believe how much stuff you can find to scrap with there. Have fun.....

Babys Mini Album I created

I created this baby album from some oversized coasters I got at a local Restaurant, and its been so long that I dont even remember which restaurant. The size is 3-1/2" x 5" and lots of pop ups that the pictures can slide under, like under the dog and small squares. Perfect size for wallet size photos and then also some of the thumbnail photos. too.
